The RV Traveler

If you know me, you know that travel has always been in my blood. It's more than something I enjoy—it's a way of life. Over the years, I've been fortunate enough to explore much of Europe, creating memories I'll treasure forever. While I know there are many more overseas adventures in my future, it's time for a different kind of journey.

This chapter is all about discovering America.

There are so many incredible places across the United States that I've never had the chance to experience, and I couldn't think of a better way to see them than from the driver's seat of an RV.

In the spring of 2023, after selling my home in Nocatee, I purchased a 2023 Delano Class C RV and embraced full-time RV living at Ocean Grove RV Resort in St. Augustine. What I expected to be just a place to start my journey turned into so much more. I found an amazing community and met people who have become lifelong friends.

As excited as I am to hit the open road, saying goodbye to family and friends will be the hardest part. Thankfully, distance doesn't have to mean losing touch.

That's why I created WHERETHEHELLEYISSHELLEY.blog.

Along with Facebook and Instagram, this will be my way of bringing everyone along for the ride. I'll share the places I visit, the people I meet, the unexpected detours, the beautiful scenery, and yes... probably a few of my daily shenanigans too. My goal is to post updates each evening so you can experience this adventure right alongside me.

Whether you're following from home, planning your own RV journey, or simply enjoy a good adventure, I hope you'll come along as I discover America—one mile, one campground, and one unforgettable memory at a time.
